8 Count Team
In 2007, the 8 Count Team was created with the goal of bringing dance in Montreal to a new level. The team is formed of men and women ranging from the ages 18-25. Choreographed by Blueprint Cru and directed and choreographed Steve Bolton, the group has been propelled to the top in a very short period of time. This is a diverse crew with talented, dedicated, and professional dancers. Their reputation has grown to unbelievable heights and is not stopping yet. Not only do they perform in Canada for shows such as the Olympic torch ceremony, Mitsou’s wedding and numerous televised Galas, they have traveled abroad to the United States and performed in New York and Chicago. They just recently took 1st place in San Diego at World of Dance, a renowned international competition held all over the U.S. blowing everyone away with their innovative style and music choices.
Each individual dancer on the team brings something to the table. Dancers in the group were also dancing in a movie starring Stephane Rousseau, and performing on stage for well known comedian Rachid Badouri and Pop sensation Jacynthe. Blueprint strives to create innovative choreographies time and time again, and has been very successful in doing so. This group has only begun and has the drive and dedication to really become larger than life.
